Mike Kotila
Senior Paraplanner
Mike graduated from Lehigh University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He started his professional career that year with Ameriprise Financial, obtaining his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2006. After 10 years at Ameriprise, Mike left for LPL Financial where he focused on high-net-worth families and more advanced planning strategies catered to that demographic.
In 2026, Mike joined M&E Catalyst Group as a Senior Paraplanner and is very excited to get to know and work with the vast and diverse client base providing tailored advice and white glove service.
Mike lives in Eden Prairie, MN with his two children, Calvin and Hayley and rescue dog, Simba. Mike is very involved with his children’s athletics and activities, coaching hockey for both kids in the winter and instructing them on the golf course in the summer. Mike also enjoys travel, golf, skiing and reading classic literature. He is also very active in his local church, Wooddale in Eden Prairie.
